Description

This is my latest mecha pic. Much of the inspiration for this mecha comes from Gasaraki, Full Metal Panic and Mobile Suit Gundam. If you look carfully you'll see the facets of all 3 mecha series in the pic you see before you, along with my own flare for combat machines.

Its primary weapon system is 30mm Autocannon (works like an assault rifle only larger). The rounds fired are not that dissimilar that fired from a GAU-8 Avenger cannon mounted on a US made A-10 Warthog which fires non-radioactive Depleted Uranium rounds (great for taking out tanks and infantry alike). The cannon mounts a titianium, adamantium alloy bayonet for cleaving up the competion in hand to hand. The mean looking cannon on the shoulder is a magaxine fed version of the smooth bore m256 120mm cannon (The same cannon mounted on the dreaded M1a2 Abrams Main Battle Tank).

This machine stands at a height of 9 meters, with a weight of 42 tons mounting an average 40mm of chobham armour (same used on the Lethal British made Challenger Tank) on it's outer structure. Its top speed is 80kph, and capable of going anywhere an infantry man can but at greater speeds. Its power supply is fuel cell battery pack that uses hydrogen as fuel supply. Movement and strength is facillitated by a pressure based, fiber composite muscule system (concept from Gasaraki and Mechwarrior). Control input includes both lateral movement, cerebral impluse, and voice commands. Display and viewing system includes a VR helmet, based Heads up display giving the pilot good all round visiblity of the battle area.

I couldn't help myself with the specs....Hee hee. I think I'll call it the "Titan". ENJOY THE PIC

Since when did oversized M4 CQB's have bayonnets attacked to them? Hell when did the regular M4 CQB get them?!
